According to reports, thousands of online taxi and motorcycle drivers have scheduled a protest in various cities of Indonesia on Tuesday (20 May).

Following are the details of the protest:

• A mass protest including motorcycle taxi drivers from East Java, Central Java, Yogyakarta, Cirebon, Bandung, Cikampek and Karawang from the east of Java is scheduled near the Merdeka Palace, the Ministry of Transportation and the Indonesian House of Representative on Tuesday (20 May).
• Similar protests by motorcycle and taxi drivers is also likely in parts of Medan, Palembang, Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Surakarta, Surabaya, Balikpapan, Makassar, Manado and Ambon.
• Participation from Aliansi Pengemudi Ojek Online Bersatu (APOB), GOGRABBER, Tim Khusus Anti Begal (TEKAB), Suara Aktivis Ojol Indonesia (SAKOI), and Gerakan Putra Putri Asli Kalimantan (GEPPAK), the Kalimantan Native Sons and Daughters Movement organization is also expected in the protest.
