The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued the following Forecast and Nowcast warnings for Pune on Monday (21 September), as per the district-wise forecast PDF documents issued at 1800 hours (local time) on Sunday (20 September).
• Forecast: A yellow alert has been issued for light to moderate rainfall, thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds of 30 to 40 kilometres per hour for Pune and the ghats of Pune on Monday (21 September).
• Nowcast: A yellow alert has been issued for light to moderate rainfall, light thunderstorms and winds of less than 40 kilometres per hour for Pune, valid till 0400 hours (local time) on Monday (21 September).
