The Central Weather Bureau (CWB) has issued a yellow strong wind advisory on Friday (10 October) covering Hsinchu County, Pingtung County, Taitung County, Penghu County, Kinmen County, and Lienchiang County.
Winds are forecast to exceed the average speed of 10.8 m/s or gusts over 17.2 m/s, with potential to cause flying debris, damage to unstable structures, and scattered obstructions on exposed routes.
