The Central Weather Administration (CWA) issued a yellow strong wind advisory at 2231 hours (local time) on Sunday (26 July), valid from Sunday night (26 July) until Monday night (27 July).

Strong winds reaching Beaufort scale six or gusts of up to Beaufort scale eight are expected in New Taipei City, Kaohsiung City, Pingtung County, Yilan County and Penghu County during the advisory period.
