The Central Weather Administration (CWA) has issued orange, and yellow level heat advisories, effective from Sunday morning (05 July) through Sunday afternoon (05 July), due to elevated daytime temperatures.
• Under the orange level heat advisory, maximum daytime temperatures are expected to reach 36 degrees Celsius for three consecutive days in Taipei City, New Taipei City, Changhua County, Yunlin County, Chiayi City, Tainan City, Kaohsiung City, Pingtung County and Hualien County.
• A yellow level heat advisory has also been issued for Chiayi County, where maximum temperatures are similarly expected to reach 36 degrees Celsius.
