The Central Weather Administration has issued an orange and yellow heat advisory for parts of Taiwan from the morning hours through the afternoon hours of Tuesday (14 April).
• An orange heat advisory has been issued for parts of Tainan City and Pingtung City, where the daily maximum temperature is anticipated to reach 38 degree Celsius or where the daily maximum temperature reaches 36 degree Celsius for three consecutive days.
• A yellow heat advisory has been issued for Kaohsiung City, where the daily maximum temperature is anticipated to reach 36 degree Celsius.
