As per Taiwan’s Central Weather Administration (CWA) has issued orange and yellow heat advisories for parts of Taiwan on Friday (22 May).
• An orange heat advisory is in effect for Tainan City, where the daily maximum temperature is expected to reach 36 degrees Celsius for three consecutive days.
• A yellow heat advisory is in effect for Chiayi County, Kaohsiung City, Pingtung County and Taitung County, where the daily maximum temperature is expected to reach 36 degrees Celsius.
