As per reports, Thailand’s Constitutional Court is to meet on Tuesday (01 July) to consider a petition seeking the dismissal of Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra. The petition by 36 senators accuses PM Paetongtarn Shinawatra of dishonesty and breaching ethnical standards in violation of the constitution.
If the court decides to hear the case, they could suspend PM Paetongtarn Shinawatra as they enter legal deliberations for the case. Additionally, the United Power of the Land to Protect Sovereignty group which previously held a rally on Saturday (28 May), urged supporters to prepare for long demonstrations if no political changes take place by Tuesday (01 July).
