Closure scheduled on US Route 101 in San Francisco from Friday (04 September)

As per reports, the California Department of Transportation is scheduled to fully close northbound US Route 101 Bayshore Freeway at Hospital Curve in San Francisco, California, from 2300 hours local time on Friday (04 September) (0600 hours UTC on 05 September) until 0600 hours local time (1300 hours UTC) on Monday (07 September).

• All northbound lanes between Cesar Chavez Street and 10th Street, including the Hospital Curve section toward 17th Street, are scheduled to close for continuous pavement rehabilitation work throughout the Labor Day weekend.
• All southbound lanes are scheduled to remain open. Motorists travelling toward downtown San Francisco and the San Francisco Oakland Bay Bridge are advised to use northbound Interstate 280 as the primary alternative.
• A second full northbound closure is scheduled from 2300 hours local time (0600 hours UTC) on 18 September to 0600 hours local time (1300 hours UTC) on 21 September.
