As per reports, at least 12 people were injured in a clash between two opposing sides of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement (ADSM) in Kushtia on Sunday (16 March). The clash began around 2130 hours on Sunday (16 March) at Kataikhana intersection in Kushtia town and later spread to the government college grounds.

The police have reported that the clash was triggered by dissatisfaction over the allocation of posts within the anti-discrimination committee.
