As per reports, the Milan municipal government has declared Thursday (02 July) an official day of civic mourning following the death of Francesco Imprezzabile, Milan Police officer.
• The funeral service is scheduled to commence at 1100 hours local time (0900 hours UTC) on Thursday (02 July) at the Parish Church of Madonna della Medaglia Miracolosa, located at Via Fratelli Rosselli 6, near Corvetto Metro Station.
• The civic mourning observance was announced by Giuseppe Sala, Mayor of Milan on Tuesday (30 June), has directed that municipal flags at all city-owned buildings be flown at half-mast throughout the day as a mark of respect and solidarity with the officer’s family and the wider community.
• A public funeral chapel has been established at the Domus Funeraria San Donato, located at Via Nilde Iotti 1, where members of the public may pay their respects between 0800 hours local time (0600 hours UTC) and 1900 hours local time (1700 hours UTC) on Tuesday (30 June) and Wednesday (01 July) and between 0800 hours local time (0600 hours UTC) and 1000 hours local time (0800 hours UTC) on Thursday (02 July), prior to the funeral service.
