As per reports, the Chinese Embassy in South Korea has issued a safety advisory urging Chinese citizens to remain vigilant during large-scale gatherings at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul, ahead of the BTS comeback concert scheduled on Saturday (21 March).

Following this, the Chinese Embassy in South Korea has advised Chinese citizens planning to travel to the site or surrounding areas to exercise caution and remain vigilant.

• Given the large number of people anticipated on site, the embassy has advised maintaining a careful assessment of the safety risks before going to the site.
• If going on site, it is advised to cooperate with the on-site security check, maintain order, avoid crowding and pushing, and enter and exit in an orderly manner to avoid accidents.
• In addition, further recommendations included situational awareness on traffic control measures in and around the venue, and to plan travel and departure routes. Others included regulating filming activities and refraining from using drones or other prohibited items.
• Meanwhile, authorities further advised to obtain event tickets only through official channels, and avoid relying on “scalped tickets” or purported “insider offers,” and remain vigilant against potential scams.
• In the event of an emergency, the embassy advises individuals to remain calm, follow staff instructions, and evacuate in an orderly manner.
