According to reports, on Monday (24 March), the Chinese Coast Guard expelled four Japanese fishing boats from the territorial waters of the disputed islands, referred to as the Diaoyu Islands by China and the Senkaku Islands by Japan, citing illegal entry between Friday-Monday (21-24 March) amid heightened tensions.
