Cancellation of train services announced due to remodeling work in Bengaluru on Tuesday and Wednesday (02-03 September)

As per reports, due to line and power blocks between Baiyyappanahalli and Channasandra as part of the Baiyyappanahalli yard remodeling work, several train services will be affected in the Bengaluru region on Tuesday and Wednesday (02-03 September). According to the South Western Railway, Bengaluru Division, the additional details are as follows:

• Train No. 06527 Bangarapet-SMVT Bengaluru MEMU service will be cancelled on Tuesday (02 September).
• Similarly, Train No. 06528 SMVT Bengaluru-Bangarapet MEMU service will be cancelled on Wednesday (03 September).
• Additionally, Train No. 16521 Bangarapet-KSR Bengaluru MEMU, commencing its journey on Tuesday (02 September), will be short-terminated at Whitefield and will not operate between Whitefield and KSR Bengaluru.
• Furthermore, Train No. 16236 Mysuru-Tuticorin Express, scheduled to depart on Tuesday (02 September), will be diverted to run via KSR Bengaluru, Bengaluru Cantonment, Baiyyappanahalli, Krishnarajapuram, Bangarapet, Tirupattur, and Salem.
• This diversion will reportedly result in the train skipping its scheduled stops at Carmelaram, Hosur, Palakkodu, and Dharmapuri.
