As per reports, bus and taxi drivers of Palamu staged protests against the new motor vehicle law on Monday (01 January) against the stringent provisions made by the government in the hit-and-run case. The drivers gathered at Shivaji Maidan and marched to the city’s main road Chhamuhan, Bus Stand, Kachari Road, Redma Chowk, and Saddiq Manzil Chowk. 150 buses from Medininagar did not operate.
