As per reports, on Monday (14 April) at approximately 1000 hours (local time) the St. Thomas Fire Department responded to a large fire at a vacant factory located between Inkerman Street and Woodworth Avenue in St. Thomas, Ontario.

The fire department has advised the public to avoid the area. Residents and businesses located downwind of the fire are urged to close all windows and doors and remain indoors to minimize exposure to smoke.
