As per reports, Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) announced temporary bridge closures in the National Capital Region to facilitate the IRONMAN race on 02 August.

• The Alexandra Bridge, connecting Ottawa, Ontario, and Gatineau, Quebec, is scheduled to be closed to motorists from 0600 hours local time (1000 hours UTC) on 02 August until 0600 hours local time (1000 hours UTC) on 03 August.
• The Chaudière Crossing is scheduled to be closed to motorists from 0600 to 1100 hours local time (1000 to 1500 hours UTC) on 02 August.
• During both closures, sidewalks are scheduled to remain open for pedestrians and cyclists. Authorities stated that the closure schedule may change depending on weather conditions.
