Bomb threats reported across multiple schools in Delhi on Tuesday (15 September)

As per reports, multiple prominent educational institutions across New Delhi, Central, and South Delhi districts received mass bomb threat emails between 1010 and 1130 hours (local time) on Tuesday (15 September).

• Targeted campuses include The British School (Chanakyapuri), Sanskriti School (Chanakyapuri), Sardar Patel Vidyalaya (Lodhi Estate), Air Force Bal Bharati School (Lodhi Road), Springdales School, Carmel Convent School, and Army Public School (Dhaula Kuan). A concurrent threat email was also received at the Civic Centre complex at approximately 1011 hours (local time).
• School administrations immediately executed emergency evacuation protocols, moving thousands of students to safe assembly points and notifying parents to collect their children. The incident disrupted ongoing half-yearly examinations across middle and senior school sections.
• Emergency response units comprising Delhi Police anti-sabotage squads, Bomb Detection and Disposal Squads (BDDS), sniffer dog units, and DFS tenders, deployed to all affected campuses and the Civic Centre to conduct multi-stage security sweeps.
• Searches completed across initial locations have yielded no explosive devices or suspicious objects. The Special Cell and Cyber Cell of Delhi Police are tracking email headers, addresses, and routing data to trace the source of the messages.
