BNP leaders and activists gather in Nayapaltan on Saturday (27 January)

According to reports, activists are gathering in Nayapaltan on Saturday (27 January) to take part in the black flag march organized by Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), demanding unlimited increase in commodity prices, release of prisoners including party chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, withdrawal of all cases and cancellation of parliament.

The procession was scheduled to start in front of the BNP central office in Nayapaltan, Dhakaat 1400 hours. Their procession is scheduled to end at Moghbazar Junction via Kakrail and Malibagh. Meanwhile, construction of temporary stage with two trucks was also reported.
