The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has issued early weather warnings for moderate to heavy rainfall including lightning and strong winds conditions in parts of Indonesia on Monday (25 August).

The details are as follows:

• Aceh: Warning is active from 0810 hours (local time) to 1030 hours (local time) on Monday (25 August).
• North Sumatra: Warning is active from 0730 hours (local time) to 1030 hours (local time) on Monday (25 August).
• Riau: Warning is active from 0700 hours (local time) to 0900 hours (local time) on Monday (25 August).
• West Kalimantan: Warning is active from 0730 hours (local time) to 0930 hours (local time) on Monday (25 August).
• Maluku: Warning is active from 0900 hours (local time) to 1200 hours (local time) on Monday (25 August).
• West Papua: Warning is active from 0900 hours (local time) to 1030 hours (local time) on Monday (25 August).
