BMKG issues moderate to heavy rainfall warning across Southeast Sulawesi from Sunday to Saturday (07-13 June)

As per reports, the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency (BMKG) has forecast the potential for moderate to heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and strong winds across parts of Southeast Sulawesi during the period from Sunday (07 June) to Saturday (13 June).

• BMKG indicated that moderate rainfall is expected across Southeast Sulawesi on Sunday (07 June) and Monday (08 June).
• Heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds is forecast for North Kolaka Regency on Tuesday (09 June).
• On Wednesday (10 June), heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms is expected in East Kolaka Regency, South Konawe Regency, and Kendari City.
• On Thursday (11 June), heavy rainfall and thunderstorm conditions are forecast to affect East Kolaka Regency, Konawe Regency, and South Konawe Regency.
• On Friday (12 June), North Kolaka, Kolaka, East Kolaka, North Konawe, Konawe, South Konawe, Konawe Islands, Kendari, North Buton, Buton, and Wakatobi are likely to experience heavy rainfall, strong winds, and thunderstorms.
• On Saturday (13 June), the potential for extreme weather is expected to be concentrated in Buton Regency.
