As per the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), an early weather warning has been issued for North Maluku on Monday (17 November), with potential for moderate to heavy rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds affecting parts of South Halmahera Regency and Tidore Islands City.
• Initial impacts are expected in South Obi, Obi, South West Gane, Joronga Islands, South East Gane, East Obi in South Halmahera Regency and in North Tidore and East Tidore in Tidore Islands City.
• Weather conditions may later extend toward West Kasiruta, East Kasiruta, South East Bacan, Central East Bacan, West Obi, North Obi, along with Hiri Island in Ternate City and Tidore, North Oba, and South Tidore in Tidore Islands City.
