As per reports, Bengaluru police have booked Bengaluru South BJP MP Tejasvi Surya for alleged hate speech following his post on social media of the alleged assault on a shopkeeper. A case has been registered at the Halasuru gate police station, after the Flying Squad Team (FST) of the Election Commission filed a formal complaint. The compaint claimed that Surya’s post attempted to create communal hatred.
