As per reports, unidentified individuals have attempted to rob a bank located in the new grain market area of Taraori, Karnal, by drilling a hole through its rear wall. The incident came to light on Monday (19 May) morning when bank staff noticed signs of forced entry upon opening the branch.
Local police and a Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team responded promptly, collecting evidence and reviewing CCTV footage to aid the investigation. Preliminary findings indicate tampering with a passbook machine and the theft of a tablet device, though no cash has been reported missing so far.
