As per reports, an avalanche has been reported in Uttarakhand’s Chamoli district on Friday (28 February), entrapping at least 57 people under blocks of snow.

The road to the affected area is also closed due to the avalanche. The authorities have stated that construction workers have been trapped. 10 of the workers have been rescued and sent to the army camp near Mana in critical condition.
