According to reports, the Central Jakarta Metro Police have prepared security measures to ensure demonstrations remain orderly on Monday (08 September).
Head of Public Relations for the Central Jakarta Metro Police, First Inspector Ruslan Basuki, informed that the police would hold a security roll call at 0900 WIB for the following demonstration locations;
• The first action will be held by the Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science, Indraprasta PGRI University, through the Industrial Engineering Student Activity Unit. The action point was centered in front of the DPR/MPR RI Building, Senayan, Central Jakarta.
• The Papuan People’s Alliance for Truth and Justice Tabi Saireri Nusantara along with a number of mass elements are to protest in the Gambir area. The crowd will gather around the Merdeka Barat Police Post.
