As per reports, on Saturday (26 July), in the Khijarsarai area of Gaya district, Bihar, a woman lost INR 40,000 in an ATM fraud. While attempting to withdraw cash at a local ATM, two fraudsters swapped her ATM card and subsequently withdrew INR 40,000 from her bank account.
Upon filing a complaint, the police retrieved footage showing the two suspects switching the card during the transaction. The police have registered a case and recovered the stolen amount. Efforts are ongoing to apprehend the accused, who remain at large.
