As per reports, anti-racism protesters, have scheduled rallies in parts of the UK on Thursday (29 February) in response to political controversies surrounding Islamophobic remarks made by Conservative Party members.

The groups organising these protests are Stand Up To Racism, the Muslim Association of Britain, The Cordoba Foundation, and the Jewish Socialists Group.

• The protestors are expected to gather at 1800 hours (local time) outside Tory HQ on Matthew Parker Street.
• At Glasgow’s Buchanan steps the protestors are expected to gather at 1700 hours (local time).
