As per reports, cadres of the Students’ Federation of India (SFI) and the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) staged a protest in Guindy, Chennai, on Thursday (23 July) against the NEET examinations, demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

Protesters also reportedly attempted to march towards the Governor’s Mansion (Raj Bhavan) from the protest site to press their demand. Protesters gathered in Guindy, where slogans were raised, and placards were displayed as part of the demonstration. Police personnel were deployed at the protest site to maintain law and order and regulate the movement of participants in the area.
