As per reports, the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) has notified that on Tuesday (20 August) it will carry out maintenance work on its general distribution networks, with the aim of improving the supply of electricity, so the drinking water service will be affected by low pressure or lack of water.

• The supply and distribution of drinking water to the city is done by pumping and due to the lack of electricity, the sumps are out of operation. Therefore, the drinking water service will be affected during the day in the following colonies: 01 to 41, 43 to 52, 54 to 57, 60 to 63, 90, 95, 97, 206, 207, 209 to 218, 222 to 227, 229 to 240, 245 to 250, 253, 295 to 297, 299, 301, 305, 310 to 327, 329 to 333, 336, 337, 341, 500 to 521, 523 to 529.
• The areas that will remain affected are Palace, Tourist Area, Central Market, Bonfil, Puerto Cancun, Punta Sam Condominiums, Playa Mujeres and Isla Mujeres.
