Adverse weather conditions forecast in parts of the UAE from Monday (30 March)

As per reports, weather conditions across the UAE on Monday (30 March), are expected to be partly cloudy across major cities including Abu Dhabi City, Dubai City, Sharjah City, Al Ain, Ajman, and Ras Al Khaimah City.

• Cloud cover is expected to increase by night on Monday (30 March), particularly over western regions such as Madinat Zayed and Liwa in Al Dhafra, and offshore islands in the Arabian Gulf including Sir Bani Yas Island and Das Island.
• Winds are forecast to be light to moderate across areas including Dubai and Abu Dhabi, with speeds ranging between 10 kilometres per hour and 25 kilometres per hour, occasionally reaching 40 kilometres per hour to 45 kilometres per hour.
• Wind directions are expected to vary between north westerly and south westerly, with occasional freshening likely to cause blowing dust in inland regions such as Al Ain.
• Sea conditions on Monday (30 March), are expected to be moderate to rough in the Arabian Gulf near Abu Dhabi and Dubai, and slight to moderate to rough in the Sea of Oman near Fujairah.
• Temperature ranges on Monday (30 March), are expected to reach between 23 degrees Celsius and 28 degrees Celsius in coastal areas such as Dubai and Sharjah, up to 30 degrees Celsius in inland areas such as Al Ain, and between nine degrees Celsius and 18 degrees Celsius in mountainous regions such as Ras Al Khaimah.
• From Tuesday (31 March) to Wednesday (01 April), partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are expected with chances of light to moderate rainfall across scattered areas including western regions such as Abu Dhabi and Al Dhafra.
• During this period, winds may strengthen again, reaching speeds of up to 40 kilometres per hour to 45 kilometres per hour, with sea conditions becoming rough at times, particularly in the Arabian Gulf.
• By Thursday (02 April) and Friday (03 April), weather conditions are expected to improve gradually with fair to partly cloudy skies and possible fog or mist in coastal and internal areas such as Dubai and Al Ain during early morning hours.
