As per reports, a red alert for heavy rainfall has been issued in parts of the Makkah region on Sunday (16 June). Locations affected include Taif, Maysan, Adham, Al Lith and surrounding areas.
• An orange alert for moderate rainfall has been issued in parts of Al Bahah, Asir and Jazan regions as well. A yellow alert for light rainfall has been issued in parts of Tabuk and Medina regions.
• Additionally, strong winds are forecast in Northern Border Region, Qassim, Riyadh regions and a heat wave in Eastern Province, southern Riyadh region and parts of Medina.
