As per reports, adverse weather conditions have been forecast in parts of Mexico on Thursday (04 January).

• Minimum temperatures of negative 15 to negative 10 degrees Celsius with frost are predicted in the mountains of Chihuahua and Durango, while temperatures are expected to range between negative 10 to negative five degrees Celsius in the mountains of Baja California, Sonora and Zacatecas. Temperatures are expected to range between negative five to zero degrees with frosts in the mountains of Aguascalientes, Coahuila, State of Mexico, Guanajuato, Hidalgo, Jalisco, Michoacán, Nuevo León, Puebla, San Luis Potosí, Sinaloa, Tlaxcala and Veracruz, as well as from zero to five degrees in the mountains of Baja California Sur, Mexico City, Morelos, Oaxaca, Querétaro and Tamaulipas.
• Maximum temperatures are expected to range between 35 and 40 degrees Celsius in Campeche, Chiapas, Michoacán, Guerrero, Oaxaca and Yucatan, as well as 30 to 35 degrees in Colima, Quintana Roo, Tabasco and the coasts of Jalisco.
• Gusts of 80 to 100 km/h are predicted in Chihuahua, Durango and Zacatecas, from 60 to 80 km/h in Aguascalientes, Coahuila, Guanajuato, San Luis Potosí and Sonora; from 50 to 70 km/h in Baja California, Baja California Sur, Guanajuato, Jalisco, Nuevo León, Sinaloa and Tamaulipas, as well as gusts of 40 to 50 km/h in Mexico City, State of Mexico, Hidalgo, Puebla, Querétaro and Tlaxcala.
• Wind gusts of 50 to 60 km/h are expected on the south coast of Veracruz, the Isthmus and the Gulf of Tehuantepec, which are expected to decrease in the course of the afternoon.
• Rainfall is forecast for areas of Chiapas, Chihuahua, Oaxaca, Puebla, Sonora, Tamaulipas and Veracruz, and isolated rainfall in parts of Campeche, Coahuila, Nuevo León and Tabasco.
