As per reports, Morocco’s General Directorate of Meteorology issued yellow weather warnings for thunderstorms, strong winds and high temperatures across the country on Wednesday (05 June).
• A yellow thunderstorm warning will be in effect from 1300 hours to 2000 hours (local time) on Wednesday (05 June) for Boulemane, Ifrane, and Sefrou.
• Yellow strong wind warnings will be in effect between 0800 hours to 2100 hours (local time) on Wednesday (05 June) for Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, Assa-Zag, Boulemane, Errachidia, Es-Semara, Essaouira, Figuig, Guelmim, Ifrane, Jerada, Ouarzazate, Sefrou, Tan-Tan, Tata, and Zagora.
• A yellow warning for high temperatures ranging between 32 degrees Celsius to 38 degrees Celsius will be in effect from 1200 hours to 1800 hours (local time) on Wednesday (05 June) for Al Haouz, Aousserd, Assa-Zag, Azilal, Beni Mellal, Berkane, Boulemane, Chefchaouen, Driouch, El Hajeb, El Kelaa des Sraghna, Errachidia, Fes, Figuig, Fquih Ben Salah, Guercif, Ifrane, Jerada, Khemisset, Khenifra, Khouribga, Marrakech, Meknes, Midelt, Moulay Yacoub, Ouarzazate, Oued Ed-Dahab, Ouezzane, Oujda-Angad, Rehamna, Sefrou, Settat, Sidi Kacem, Sidi Slimane, Taounate, Taourirt, Tata, Taza, Tinghir, and Zagora.
