As per reports, actor Saif Ali Khan was injured in a burglary attempt at his Bandra residence, in Mumbai on Thursday (16 January). The unidentified intruder reportedly entered the actor’s home at around 0230 hours and attacked him with a knife during an alleged confrontation, resulting in sustained injuries including multiple stab wounds. He was shifted to Lilavati hospital at around 0330 hours receiving surgery and is reportedly out of danger.

In response, the Deputy Commissioner of Police Dixit Gedam, confirmed that an investigation is underway by both Mumbai Police and the Crime Branch to identify and apprehend the attacker. Meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan’s team has reportedly urged both the public and media to remain patient, as the case is handled by the police.
