As per reports, VINCI Autoroutes is scheduled to begin overnight maintenance and upkeep works on the A8 motorway in Alpes-Maritimes, resulting in temporary closures and traffic diversions from Monday (21 September) to Friday (25 September), generally between 2030 hours local time (1830 hours UTC) and 0530 hours local time (0330 hours UTC).
• The exit ramp towards Italy is scheduled to be closed for four nights from 2100 hours local time (1900 hours UTC) to 0500 hours local time (0300 hours UTC). Light vehicles are expected to be diverted via Nice-Nord (No. 54), while heavy goods vehicles are expected to continue to La Turbie (No. 57), turn around and return towards Aix-en-Provence before exiting at Nice-Est.
• The Carros interchange (No. 51.1) exit ramp is scheduled to be closed for four nights from 2030 hours local time (1830 hours UTC) to 0530 hours local time (0330 hours UTC), with drivers diverted via the Nice Saint-Isidore interchange (No. 52).
• The Villeneuve-Loubet interchange (No. 47) entrance ramp towards Aix-en-Provence is scheduled to be closed for four nights from 2100 hours local time (1900 hours UTC) to 0530 hours local time (0330 hours UTC) due to retaining-wall reinforcement works. Drivers are expected to be diverted via Villeneuve-Loubet Plage (No. 46).
• The retaining-wall reinforcement project at Avenue de Bel Air, Villeneuve-Loubet, is expected to continue until the end of September, with works taking place overnight on weekdays.
