As per the Meteorological, Climatological, and Geophysical Agency (BMKG), a 6.4 magnitude earthquake was reported at 61 kilometers southeast of Sinabang in Aceh at 1156 hours (local time) on Tuesday (03 March).

The earthquake also reported a depth of 13 kilometers with no tsunami potential.
