The Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi, dan Geofisika (BMKG) informed that an earthquake of magnitude 5.1 has been reported in the sea 111 km southeast of Selayar on Thursday (01 October) at a depth of 10 km and at 2120 hours (local time).
No tsunami warning has been issued. Tremors have been felt in Selayar Fortress and the Jampea Selayar Islands.
