According to the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency of Indonesia (BKMG), a 4.9 magnitude earthquake was recorded south of the Fiji Islands at 0424 hours (local time) on Thursday (05 November).
The earthquake was recorded at a depth of 487 kilometres.
