Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) has repoted a 4.8 magnitude earthquake off the coast of Ibaraki Prefecture on Tuesday (03 February). It was reported at 1803 hours (local time) at a depth fof 50 km.

Tremors were recorded in several prefectures – Fukushima, Ibaraki, Tochigi, Gunma, Saitama, Chiba, Miyagi, Tokyo, Kanagawa and Yamanashi.
