The Indonesian Agency for Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics (BMKG) reported a magnitude 4.7 earthquake approximately 47 kilometres northeast of Mbay, Nagekeo Regency, at 0919 hours (local time) on Saturday (15 August). The earthquake occurred at a depth of 11 kilometres.
