As per the Indonesia Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency (BMKG), a magnitude 4.7 earthquake was recorded on Sunday (13 September) at 1014 hours (local time).
The earthquake occurred at 8.30 degrees South, 121.52 degrees East, with the epicentre located 48 kilometers northeast of Mbay, Nagekeo, offshore. The earthquake occurred at a depth of six kilometers. The tremor was felt at Modified Mercalli Intensity (MMI) II–III in Nagekeo Regency, MMI II–III in Sikka Regency, and MMI II in Manggarai Regency.
