The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported a 4.6 magnitude earthquake 91 kilometres South of Kushima on Monday (23 March) at around 2139 hours (local time). The reported depth of the earthquake was approximately 39 kilometres.
No human casualty or property damage has been reported so far. Further details awaited.
