4.5 magnitude earthquake reported in Vanuatu on Thursday (27 August)

As per the United States Geological Survey (USGS), a 4.5 magnitude earthquake was reported approximately 147 kilometres east of Sola, Vanuatu, at 0650 hours (local time) on Thursday (27 August).

The earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometres.
