The Indonesian Agency for Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics (BMKG) reported a 4.4 magnitude earthquake approximately 160 kilometers north of Maluku Barat Daya, Maluku, at 2239 hours (local time) on Sunday (20 September). The earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers.
