4.4 magnitude earthquake reported in Central Sulawesi on Wednesday (24 June)

The Meteorological Department of Indonesia (BMKG) has reported a magnitude 4.4 earthquake 39 kilometres northeast of Sigi Regency in Central Sulawesi on Wednesday (24 June) at around 1600 hours (local time).

The recorded depth of the earthquake was seven kilometres. Weak earthquake shocks were observed in Sigi and Hammer. No human casualty or property damage has been reported so far.
