As per the Indonesia Meteorological Department (BMKG), a 4.2 magnitude earthquake was reported in the Flores Region on Thursday (20 August) at around 2327 hours (local time).

The recorded depth of the earthquake was 10 kilometres. No casualty or property damage has been reported so far.
