The Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi dan Geofisika (BMKG) reported that a 4.1 magnitude earthquake occurred at approximately 0359 hours (local time) on Wednesday (22 April), with the epicentre located about 94 kilometres southwest of West Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), Indonesia.

The earthquake occurred at a depth of 73 kilometres.
