The Indonesian Agency for Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics (BMKG) reported a 4.1 magnitude earthquake approximately 91 kilometres northwest of Banggai Kepulauan, Central Sulawesi, at 0658 hours (local time) on Saturday (26 September).
The earthquake occurred at a depth of five kilometres.
