The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has recorded a 3.6 magnitude earthquake approximately 61 kilometres northwest of Southeast Maluku, on Wednesday (15 April).

The earthquake occurred at a depth of 157 kilometres at around 1949 hours (local time).
